About Talitha
• A post-graduate student with an Honors degree in Law and endless enthusiasm for English and literature.
• Experience in tutoring high-school English, Afrikaans and French since 2014.
• Joined two tutoring companies in 2019 and offered English exam preparation classes.
• Helped grade 1 - 7 learners with homework in weekly sessions with a society at Stellenbosch University.

• I have tutored grades 1 - 7, helping them with Maths, English reading and grammar.
I approach junior-level classes in an interactive way. I make use of videos, games, activities and strongly encourage the use of journalling. Telling stories and engaging learners during homework and activities is a proven method of strengthening my student's interest in and understanding of their work. I understand that high standards come with high interest levels and this is something I am natural at guiding.
• I have tutored high school and university students in English literature and language
My approach for the more senior and advanced learners is equally engaging but includes studies of current affairs and more world knowledge. English is not a static language but changes and adapts. I encourage and incorporate news readings, social media posts, political cartoons and themes that you as a student will be confronted with from a university setting to the working world. You have a unique voice and English is a tool that you will learn to use proficiently.
