In order to gauge my student's understanding of a particular subject, I start off with a standard test. In doing this, I can identify their strengths and weaknesses. In conjunction with this, I would also ask my student and their guardians what they find easy and hard. This will then structure the upcoming lessons. Typically I teach for an hour and it is usually on a one-to-one basis. I have experience tutoring students ranging from primary school to college. I am up to date as to the specification as I keep abreast of any changes. I have recently returned from teaching abroad in Korea. Therefore, my experience in tutoring extends beyond that of London!
