About Jessica
I am a Law graduate from the University of Worcester and I am currently progressing onto a Master’s degree in Law at the University of Birmingham. Alongside my studies, I work as an Assistant Paralegal for the Crown Prosecution Service, which allows me to bring practical legal insight into my teaching. This academic and professional background enables me to support students not only with understanding legal theory, but also with applying the law clearly and effectively in essays and exams. I aim to make complex legal concepts accessible and help students build confidence in both their knowledge and exam technique.

My approach is centred on identifying where students struggle most and breaking down difficult legal concepts into clear, manageable steps. Law can feel overwhelming due to the vast amount of content, so I focus on helping students understand how the law works rather than memorising information. I work closely with students to improve their revision techniques, helping them organise large areas of the syllabus effectively and revise in a way that suits their learning style. I also place strong emphasis on essay writing skills, including structuring answers clearly, applying the law accurately, and practising writing under exam time limits to build confidence and speed. My aim is to help students feel more confident in their understanding of law, improve their exam performance, and develop skills they can use across all areas of their studies.
