About André
The method I adopt is the so-called "natural method": it favors direct immersion in the language, according to the principle that one cannot be fluent in reading the Latin language unless an adequate degree of oral fluency is acquired. Base books may vary, but in principle I adopt Hans Osberg's Lingua Latina per se Ilustrata. Polis exercises: Lectiones Latinitatis Vivae are also used. But the method can be adapted according to the specific needs of the student.

Law student. I have been teaching Latin classes in Belém since 2017. My Latin study / training took place at Instituto Hugo de São Vitor and through courses at the Oxford Latinitas Project. My interests in the Latin language revolve mainly around Classical, Ancient and Medieval Philosophy. I am co-author of two chapters in a book on Philosophy of Law published in the year 2020, whose name is "The Philosophy of Law of John Finnis: fundamental concepts.", Organized by professor Victor Sales Pinheiro.
