About Angela

I want to teach students because I am passionate about sharing the knowledge and skills that have profoundly shaped my academic journey. Teaching allows me to help others unlock their potential, develop critical thinking, and build confidence in their abilities. I find it incredibly rewarding to witness students’ progress and to play a role in their academic success.

About the lesson

As a penultimate-year Law student at the University of Bristol, I have excelled in both English Literature and Language at GCSE level, and furthered my expertise through A-level English Literature. My background equips me with exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, which I apply to offer insightful and effective tutoring in English. As a tutor I will provide engaging sessions designed to help achieve academic success. I have previous experiences as a Reading Mentor to young children, in which I helped their reading and comprehension skills excel and thrive. I did this through tailoring my sessions with them to meet their learning needs, which allowed them to understand and develop their reading.
