About Stanton
I’m a commercial lawyer with over four years’ in-house experience in the energy sector and hold a First Class Honours degree from UQ. I have experience tutoring both high school and university students, including at UQ. I specialise in exam strategy, legal writing, and assignment feedback, helping students achieve stronger academic results. I also provide tailored clerkship and interview coaching, drawing on my own experience and having been involved in the clerkship selection process at a top-tier firm, giving me practical insight into what firms look for in candidates.

Structured, practical, and exam-focused approach tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on breaking down complex legal concepts into clear, repeatable frameworks, improving issue-spotting and application, and refining answer structure for both problem questions and essays. Sessions are designed to deliver practical techniques that translate directly into stronger exam and assignment performance. I also draw on real-world in-house legal experience to connect theory with how the law operates in practice. In addition, I offer guidance on clerkship applications, including CVs, cover letters, and interview preparation.
