About Obed
A self-taught multi-instrumentalist and music producer with over 10 years of performance experience, my journey as a music teacher began when I was teaching a student at my church the piano before leaving for university. I continued mentoring them through online lessons, and that’s when I discovered my love for teaching.
I have formal qualifications on saxophone (Grade 5) and believe in creating an environment where students feel comfortable to learn, make mistakes and ask questions without judgement. Having also produced music with over 8 million streams on spotify alone, I also have a deep understanding on production techniques that yield results.
Whether you want to play your favourite songs, improve your technique, or get started with music production - I’m committed to making that process fun, engaging, and fulfilling.

Learn to play/produce the music you love. Lessons are fun, relaxed, and tailored to your goals, whether you want to learn your favourite songs, develop improvisation skills, or even start producing your own tracks. I always recommend 30 minute lessons for beginners, focus on building strong fundamentals and confidence and then increase lessons to 45 minutes if needed.
I’ve taught students aged 6–59, and with my background being self-taught I bring a hands-on, practical approach to every lesson. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to take your skills to the next level, I’m here to help you grow at your own pace.
