Hi, I'm Jamal, a passionate photographer and content creator with a deep love for visual storytelling and creative expression. Photography is more than just capturing images—it's about seeing the world differently, understanding light, and framing moments that tell a story. Over the years, I have honed my skills through event, travel, and creative photography, and I am excited to share my knowledge with aspiring photographers like you. My experience as a content creator at the University of Glasgow has allowed me to develop both technical expertise and creative vision, producing engaging and impactful visuals. Through my work, I have learned the importance of composition, lighting, and camera techniques, and I want to help others gain the same confidence behind the lens. Why I Teach Photography Photography has given me the ability to capture emotions, preserve memories, and express creativity, and I want to help others experience that same joy. Teaching Methodology & Techniques: • Hands-on learning: Lessons involve practical exercises, real-time feedback, and outdoor or indoor shoots based on your interests (landscape, portrait, street, etc.). • Understanding your camera: Whether you use a DSLR, mirrorless, or smartphone, I help students master camera settings, composition, and lighting. • Creative storytelling: Photography is about vision—I guide students to develop their unique style and improve their framing and composition. • Post-shoot critique: We review images together, analysing what works well and where improvements can be made.
