About Sneha
About Me I am a passionate Carnatic musician with over 15 years of learning in both Vocal music and Saraswati Veena. I am a B-graded Veena artist with All India Radio and have been a performing artist for a couple of years now. I currently am pursuing my M.A. in Sanskrit, which deepens my understanding of our classical traditions. Music has been a part of my life since childhood, and it has shaped who I am. I believe that sharing knowledge is a form of devotion, and teaching gives me immense joy and purpose. I want to help others experience the beauty, discipline, and joy that Carnatic music brings. My goal is to make classical music & Sanskrit more approachable and enjoyable for everyone. I strive to create a learning space that is comfortable, respectful, and inspiring, where every student feels valued and encouraged. Through teaching, I hope to pass on the love I’ve received from my own gurus and keep our rich musical tradition alive in the hearts of future generations.

My Teaching Method I follow a simple, step-by-step, and personalized approach, making learning Carnatic music easy, enjoyable, and effective for all age groups. Classes begin with the basic theory of Carnatic music —swaras, talas, and key concepts—while also including practical sessions from day one. This helps students build both understanding and confidence simultaneously. For those learning Saraswati Veena, I teach not only how to play the instrument but also how to handle and maintain it at home with care. Each Veena lesson includes vocal guidance to support proper pitch, melody, and flow of the lesson. To keep learning fun and culturally rich, I include bhajans, abhangs, and simple devotional songs. This makes the experience light-hearted and connects students with our musical traditions. Each session is designed to be interactive, supportive, and tailored—so that every student enjoys the journey while growing in both skill and love for music.
