About Astrid
Lei hou! I’m Astrid, a native Cantonese speaker born and raised in Hong Kong. Experienced tutor (10+ years) teaching learners of all ages (4-75) and thrilled to be a part of your language learning journey!
I teach conversation classes to children (ages 4 and above) and adult beginners looking to learn Cantonese from scratch or improve their existing skill set. Please get in touch if you have any questions and I look forward to seeing you in class!

As a former lawyer and Cambridge Law graduate, I have a keen eye for detail and employ methodical teaching techniques to ensure you pick up Cantonese as effortlessly as possible.
As an avid language learner myself, I'm familiar with the pain points you encounter when learning a foreign language (especially one that has 9 tones!) I tailor each lesson to your specific needs and focus on any areas for improvement. An emphasis will be placed on accent work.
