About Amanda Isabel

Hello! I am passionate about language, learning, and effective communication. I offer English and Tagalog tutoring for elementary and high school students, with lessons tailored to each learner’s needs, goals, and learning pace.

My approach to teaching is patient, interactive, and student-centered. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, expressing themselves, and learning from their mistakes. Whether you need help with grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, pronunciation, or everyday communication, I am here to guide you step by step.

As a Communication student, I value clarity, creativity, and understanding. I strive to make every lesson engaging, practical, and easy to follow while helping students build their knowledge and confidence.

Let’s make learning English and Tagalog a positive and rewarding experience together!

About the lesson

Teaching Method and Techniques

As a Communication student, I believe that learning a language becomes easier when students can connect it to their everyday lives. My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations, interactive discussions, practical exercises, and examples that students can easily understand. I encourage students to ask questions, practice speaking, and learn at their own pace. I can also adjust my teaching methods based on each student's learning needs and areas for improvement.

A Typical Lesson Plan

Each lesson begins with a short review of previous topics and an introduction to the day's learning objectives. I then explain the lesson using simple examples and guided exercises. Students will have opportunities to practice through reading, writing, speaking, vocabulary-building activities, and short quizzes. At the end of the session, we will review the key concepts and identify areas that may need further practice.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor

As a Communication student, I have developed skills in language, writing, research, and effective communication. I aim to create a welcoming and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. I value patience, adaptability, and personalized instruction, ensuring that lessons are not only educational but also engaging and relevant to each student's daily life.

Who the Lessons Are For

My tutoring sessions are open to elementary and high school students who want to improve their English or Tagalog skills. Lessons may cover grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, pronunciation, conversational skills, and school-related assignments. I can assist beginners, students who need additional academic support, and learners who simply want to become more confident in using either language.
