About Matt
I’m a passionate and curious English teacher with over 15 years of experience learning English and 5+ years of teaching experience in both private and institutional settings.
I’m an apprentice driven by curiosity and a love of learning — whether it’s mastering a new skill like taming and training wild animals, clinical child therapy, or helping others explore language and culture. This mindset shapes my teaching style: I design engaging, practical, and entertaining lessons that encourage students to learn and speak independently, confidently and enjoy the natural flow of English. I try to make my classes fun and exciting because based on new research there is a wealth of evidence to suggest that students do actually learn a language more effectively when they’re having fun and enjoying themselves.
