About Lara
With over 11 years of guitar experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music, I provide lessons for all levels. I specialize in fingerstyle, blues improvisation, soloing, and chordal theory. Lessons are designed to match each student’s pace and ambitions. I teach rock, jazz, funk, and folk, giving learners versatility. Beginners learn foundational skills while advanced players refine their mastery. My teaching style is encouraging, patient, and motivating. I emphasize creativity through improvisation and composition. Students develop technical proficiency alongside musical expression. I create lessons that are fun, structured, and inspiring. Every student is supported in exploring their unique style. Music theory is taught simply to strengthen understanding. I focus on building confidence and passion in every learner. I teach guitar with a focus on skill, expression, and creativity. Students learn fingerstyle, soloing, chord theory, and improvisation. Lessons include genre exploration from rock and jazz to folk. I support players who enjoy easy strumming or emotional blues phrasing. I combine structured exercises with creative tasks, allowing growth at every pace. Technical skill, timing, and musical understanding are emphasized. Students start simple and gradually tackle advanced techniques. I encourage composing short pieces and experimenting with improvisation. Each lesson builds confidence and a love for music. I make learning enjoyable and clear. My aim is for students to feel empowered at the guitar. Questions and personal expression are welcomed. Students develop both musical ability and creativity.
