About Serena
I have been teaching guitar for over 12 years, and I hold a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on guitar. My passion is helping students connect with music on an emotional level while building strong technical skills. I believe that playing guitar is not just about hitting the right notes but about expressing feelings through sound. In my lessons, I focus on developing solid technique, music theory knowledge, and practical fluency across the fretboard. This well-rounded approach helps students become confident and creative players. I tailor each lesson to fit the student’s goals, whether they want to play classical pieces, improvise blues solos, or write their own songs. I enjoy working with all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. My teaching style is patient and encouraging, making sure students feel supported every step of the way.
