About Hadasa
I am a music teacher for the San Jose Jazz Progressions Program. I have performed with various groups and ensembles, playing a range of different genres. Additionally, I graduated from college with a scholarship for Music Education and an emphasis in guitar
But most importantly, I started as a SELF-TAUGHT-GUITARIST.
I know what it means to need a professor to tackle on more exciting challenges.

As a music education professional, we are taught that each student has a different and unique way of learning.
I want to personalize my lessons to the student's pace and ability. With care and patience, I believe in celebrating growth, including super duper small wins like your first chord :)
This is how I plan my Lessons:
- Student check in, as we tune guitar strings
- Warm-up with guitar technique (finger flexibility and strength)
- Go over song that is being learned (You choose!)
- Learn chords
- Learn strumming pattern
- Put chords and strumming together
Open to teaching all ages, from beginner to intermediate levels.
