About Amira

I am a guitar teacher with 11 years of experience, specializing in songwriting, composition, and artist development. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Guitar Emphasis, which gave me both technical depth and creative insight. My lessons go beyond chords and scales—I guide students in writing original music and building their own unique style. I enjoy working with aspiring singer-songwriters and independent musicians who want to find their artistic voice. Many of my students come to me with ideas, and together we turn those ideas into complete songs. I focus on both the creative process and the technical skills needed to bring music to life. Composition, lyric writing, and arranging are important parts of my teaching. I also help students learn the basics of recording so they can confidently produce their own tracks. This gives them the tools to share their music with others and grow as independent artists. My approach is supportive, practical, and always centered on the student’s goals. Whether you want to craft your first song, improve your playing, or prepare for performing and recording, I provide step-by-step guidance. With dedication and creativity, I believe anyone can become not just a guitarist, but also a music creator. Let’s work together to turn your ideas into powerful songs.

My teaching approach for guitar is centered on making learning both practical and enjoyable. I believe that every student has their own style, and I design lessons to bring out that uniqueness. From the very first class, I focus on building strong foundations in chords, rhythm, and technique.

I teach students to explore different genres such as classical, rock, blues, jazz, and acoustic styles. This helps them become flexible and confident in adapting to any musical setting. Alongside technical skill-building, I encourage creativity and personal expression, so each student feels connected to the music they play.

For those who want to strum songs with friends or play at social gatherings, I provide easy-to-follow methods that quickly build confidence. For learners who are more curious about depth, improvisation, and emotional playing, I guide them step by step into the details of sound, phrasing, and feel.

I use a mix of structured exercises and free exploration to balance discipline with creativity. My lessons often include practice techniques, ear training, and song application to make learning well-rounded. Most importantly, I create a supportive and patient environment where students can grow without fear of mistakes.

My goal is not only to teach guitar but also to help students discover their own voice through the instrument. With the right guidance and consistent practice, every student can turn passion into skill and music into expression.
