About Nobuko
I am from Japan and currently living in Melbourne. I completed al of the units at Deakin University on Master of Teaching. I have worked as Japanese teacher and teaching assistant in East Gippsland for about a 2 years in total. Also have been supporting/ teaching VCE students at one of the girls school in Melbourne, especially in Japanese oral practice.

My personal teaching method values student motivation and individualized learning.
In my first lesson, I would like to get to know you, your language learning experience and your needs. According to your needs and profred learning style, I will organise the lesson. I'm very flexible to teach any levels and have knowledge of new VCE Japanese curriculum to support you.
Furthermore, I believe intercultural learning is a crucial method in language teaching (as emphasised by numerous curriculum materials), especially with Japanese, a culture that is known for its rich heritage. I use as much authentic material in the lesson as possible.
