About Ilhan
I have over 10 years of experience professionally performing, teaching and composing. I attended the Schulich School of Music and The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, and I currently work as a full-time artist and educator around the world, based in one of the greatest musical hubs of the world; New York City!

Hi there! My name is Ilhan and if I'm lucky enough, I could be your next music tutor. I have years of experience studying under different schools and genres of music, and my teaching style is a culmination of all my experiences; using classical music to teach technique and using my jazz background to encourage creativity and freedom of expression. In my sessions, I love to work on goal setting as well as wellness and mental health practices to help you have a happier life in music, and out! I love working with students of all ages and levels and I aspire to create meaningful personal relationships with all my students to make sure I can give them whatever they need to achieve their definition of success.
