About Mila
I’m a piano teacher with a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Piano and over fourteen years of experience. I specialize in helping students prepare for music exams, college auditions, and professional gigs. My teaching style is personalized to fit each student’s unique goals and learning pace. I believe that every student has their own musical journey, and I’m here to guide them through it with patience and encouragement. I focus on building strong technique, musical expression, and confidence. Whether you’re working on a challenging piece or preparing for a performance, I create lessons that are both motivating and rewarding. I pay close attention to your progress and adjust the lessons to keep you engaged and growing. I enjoy making music fun and meaningful, so students stay inspired to practice and improve. Over the years, I’ve helped many students achieve their goals and discover their love for piano. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation in piano while making lessons enjoyable and inspiring. I start with proper keyboard technique to help students play comfortably and avoid strain. Ear training is an important part of my lessons, helping students recognize notes, chords, and rhythms by listening. I also include performance skills, encouraging students to play confidently in front of others. Theory is not just about reading notes but applying it to understand music deeply.
I tailor lessons to fit each student’s goals, whether they want to learn quickly or enjoy piano as a hobby. I provide clear guidance and support so every student can improve step by step. Practice plans are designed to keep students motivated and focused. I believe patience and encouragement are key in helping learners grow.
Through regular feedback, I help students overcome challenges and celebrate their progress. My goal is to help all students, from beginners to more advanced players, develop skill and passion.
