About Jeevan
I am Jeevan, a professional bansuri teacher from India. I hold a Master’s degree in Music (specialising in bansuri) and have cleared the NET exam. I have been teaching online since 2017, with students across India, the USA, and Europe. Being trained in the Banaras Gharana tradition, I ensure that students get authentic knowledge as well as the joy of music.

Namaste! I am Jeevan Dhami, a professional bansuri (Indian bamboo flute) teacher from Patna. I hold a Master’s degree in Music, have cleared UGC-NET, and have been teaching bansuri for over 9+ years. Along with online teaching since 2017, I also have experience as a government college music teacher. I received my training from the Faculty of Performing Arts, IIT BHU, and I belong to the authentic Banaras Gharana tradition. This gives my teaching both the academic depth and the spiritual essence of Indian classical music. On this platform, there may be many flute teachers, but with me you’ll be in the right hands — learning bansuri in its most authentic and traditional form, while also exploring bhajans, Bollywood, meditation music, and classical ragas. I believe bansuri is not just an instrument, it’s a path to peace, focus, and joy. I ensure that every student, beginner or advanced, feels progress and inspiration in every class.

Perfect! It's been more than a month since I have been taking lessons from Jeevan ji and the learning journey has been great. His knowledge on the instrument and subject is authentic and teaching methodical. I was new to bansuri and even though it's a difficult instrument to even start, but thanks to Jeevan ji's I am already learning my 3rd song along with usual theory and svar / alankaar practice.
Perfect! I am learning flute with Jeevan and it has been a wonderful experience. He is extremely knowledgeable in music and explains concepts very clearly, making even complex ideas easy to understand. He is very patient and supportive, especially when I make mistakes, which really helps build confidence while learning. His calm and encouraging teaching style makes the lessons enjoyable and motivating. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn music seriously and with proper guidance.

I was surprised at how quickly I progressed – by the third class, I could already play a small tune with confidence. Jeevan’s teaching is very patient and structured. He balances classical training with fun exercises, which makes every session motivating.
I have been learning bansuri with Jeevan for a while now, and I can honestly say he is an excellent teacher. His lessons are clear, patient, and rooted in the authentic Banaras gharana style, yet he explains everything in a way that even a beginner like me can understand.
What I appreciate most is that he adapts the class to my pace and goals – sometimes we work on ragas, other times on popular melodies, and he always makes sure I enjoy the process. He is reliable, encouraging, and very knowledgeable about Indian classical music.

My lesson fee reflects my qualifications, experience, and structured teaching approach. I hold a Master’s degree in Music (Bansuri/Indian Bamboo Flute), am UGC NET qualified, and have over 10 years of teaching experience with students from India, the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
Each one-hour session is carefully planned and fully personalised according to the student’s level—beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Lessons include tone development, breath control, fingering techniques, raga-based improvisation, compositions, and guided practice strategies. I also focus on long-term musical growth rather than short-term learning.
Online classes are conducted professionally with clear audio guidance, live demonstrations, and continuous feedback, ensuring an effective learning experience comparable to in-person training.
Trial lessons and regular weekly slots are available. Serious learners seeking authentic and systematic Bansuri training will find strong value in this fee.
