I am Brazilian and have lived in the UK for more than 5 years.

What's the difference between Portuguese from Portugal and Portuguese from Brazil?
Portuguese is the sixth most spoken language worldwide, with 215 million native speakers - mostly in Portugal and Brazil, but also in several African countries.
Is great to think that Portuguese from Portugal and Brazilian Portuguese are like British and American English; there are some differences in the accent, vocabulary, grammar and spelling, but after all, it is still the same language and you will be able to communicate with people from both countries and beyond with no problem at all, so whatever your choice is, I will be able to help you.
