About GJEN LINBERGE

About Me: Meet Your Tutor

Hi there! I am Gjen Linberge.

If you are looking for a practical, confident, and highly supportive starting point for your English journey, you are in the exact right place.

I bring unique, real-world expertise to our lessons, backed by three years of professional experience as a BPO Customer Care Representative. Having spent thousands of hours communicating clearly and effectively with native English speakers in high-pressure environments, I understand exactly what it takes to master conversational flow, neutral pronunciation, and professional speech. Now, my mission is to share that knowledge directly with you.

About the lesson

The Gjen Linberge Approach to English Tutoring

1. My Teaching Method and Techniques.
I don’t teach from rigid, dry textbooks. My method is rooted in Active Communication and Situational Learning. Because I spent three years dealing with real-world conversations in the BPO industry, my techniques focus on how English is actually spoken, not just how it's written. The "Call-Control" Listening Technique: Teaching you how to actively listen to native speakers so you can respond naturally without freezing. Neutralization & Fluency Drills: Friendly, interactive exercises to help you master pronunciation, pacing, and accent clarity. The Judgment-Free Zone: Creating a safe space where making mistakes is treated as a necessary step toward progress.

2. A Typical Lesson Plan (60 Minutes)Every session is structured to maximize your talking time while ensuring you walk away with practical skills. 1. The Icebreaker & Warm-Up: 10 Minutes. A casual, friendly chat about your day or a fun topic to shake off any nervousness and get your brain thinking in English.
2. Target Skill Introduction: 15 Minutes. Focusing on a specific real-world scenario (e.g., introducing yourself, ordering food, expressing an opinion, or handling a professional conversation). 3. Interactive Roleplay: 20 Minutes. Putting the skill into practice immediately. We will simulate real-life interactions, allowing you to use your new vocabulary in real time. 4. The 'Gjen Linberge' Feedback Loop: 15 Minutes. A supportive wrap-up where we highlight your wins of the day and gently fine-tune your pronunciation or grammar based on our roleplay.

3. What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
3 Years of Real BPO Experience: Unlike traditional school teachers, I have thousands of hours of firsthand experience speaking with native English speakers in high-pressure, professional environments. I know what phrases are actually used and what rules you can safely ignore. Empathy First: Having navigated the corporate communication world, I understand the anxiety of trying to speak perfectly. I bring a patient, peer-to-peer energy to every class.

4. Who the Lessons Are For
The Gjen Linberge lessons are highly specialized for learners who need a strong, practical starting point:
Level: Absolute Beginners to Intermediate learners who can understand basic English but struggle to speak it smoothly. Target Audience: Aspiring BPO Professionals: Individuals who want to pass call center communication assessments and interviews. Career Changers: Adults looking to improve their conversational English for new job opportunities, corporate settings, or freelance work.Everyday Learners: Anyone who feels too shy or embarrassed to speak English in public and wants to build genuine confidence.
