About Elena
I have a Masters' degree in Linguistics and vast experience teaching and tutoring students in class or online. Over my career I learned a lot about what works and what doesn't, and what obstacles prevent people from speaking foreign languages fluently and with confidence.

In my lessons I use a variety of approaches and rely on various techniques that make the process efficient and easy to follow.
My approach focuses on making you speak and read the language first, and introducing complex grammar as we go. I offer encouraging and no-pressure approach that makes studying with me not only effective, but also fun.
A typical lesson with me includes:
- A set of reading, fill-the-blanks or question answering exersises.
- A short introduction of a new topic we are focusing on (grammar concept, phonetics, fluency)
- Phonetic exersize (to make sure you are ready for all those weird sounds)
- A discussion on a chosen topic (we discuss the topic beforehand)
At the end of the lesson you will receive a handy guide with the new grammar and vocabulary we learned during the lesson
