About Henrique

Hello, Pontes Here.
I'm Brazilian and I have 13 years of singing experience and 4 years teaching music and how to sing.
Today my speaking English is a little bit out of practice, but I'll give my best and in a couple of weeks I'll get better.
I'm going to work as a singing teacher and a voice coach, always trying to learn in an easy way, and trying to understand your own way to get these lessons.
There are some styles I have special knowledge of like Japanese music, Minyo, Enka, J Pop, City Pop e etc.
But I also can teach how to sing in English, Portuguese, and Japanese. Italian available soon.
Want to learn belting, mix voice, or just want to sing better? I can show you an easy and fun way to learn and improve your singing and music abilities.
Come to learn with me for the lowest price on the site.

Interested in singing songs from your favorite anime?
Or perhaps you’ve heard some City Pop that made you want to sing along?
I’m the right teacher to show you how!
Having been born in a Japanese-Brazilian colony, I’ve been immersed in Japanese culture from a young age. I can teach you the tricks, techniques, and nuances of Japanese musical language—covering everything from traditional styles like Enka and Minyo to contemporary genres like J-Pop, J-Rock, and AniSong.
With a deep background in Bossa Nova, MPB, Bolero, and Samba, I also have a firm grasp of the artistic and musical concepts that underpin Brazilian music, helping you connect more deeply with this "golden age" of our musical heritage.
In English-language music, I specialize in Jazz, Blues, Soul, Pop, Rock, and Metal.
Do you dream of belting out Power Metal vocals, but struggle with high notes, mixed voice, or vocal distortion (drive)? Does your voice feel "stuck" in your throat? Are you curious about "belting" but don’t quite know how to approach it?
I can guide you through these techniques in a way that is accessible, safe, and fun—always using clear, easy-to-understand language.

For those interested in music theory:
Tired of just memorizing chord charts and simple triads?
Have you never heard of seventh chords (tetrads)? Do you find yourself unable to transpose a song to a different key, or do you have to rely on apps to do it for you?
I can teach you music theory from the ground up, breaking down complex topics into simple, intuitive, and—most importantly—enjoyable concepts.
I’ll also show you how to bridge the gap between theory and practice on your instrument, allowing you to explore the musical styles and sounds you love, and helping you create arrangements you can truly be proud of. The course is comprehensive and can focus on popular guitar styles—such as accompaniment for vocals—as well as solo guitar, covering areas like improvisation and the creation of "chord-melody" arrangements.

I work as a private tutor for each student, with a minimum of two 55-minute sessions per week.
The monthly fee is $200.00.
I am deeply committed and personally invested in my students' progress—to the point where their learning becomes an extension of my own ego.
Come learn with me!
