About Eli
It all started with the guitar, but singing quickly became my passion. Over the years, I’ve received multiple awards for my vocals, performed across Shetland, and met many amazing — and even famous — songwriters and artists, including several Scottish musicians. I’m currently part of three bands, I've also been working on two singles and a full album, and studying Higher Music and Creative Industries at college, where I’ve already achieved top grades and qualifications. I also won Stars in Their Eyes Unstfest performing as Lewis Capaldi and also received a trophy for Best Vocalist. Music is more than a subject to me — it’s a lifelong passion. My goal as a tutor is to make every student feel welcome, creative, and confident in discovering their own musical journey

My singing lessons are open to all levels — from first-time singers to experienced performers looking to refine their sound. With 12 years of vocal artistry and stage experience, I teach using a mix of technique, songwriting, and performance training that brings out each student’s authentic voice. My approach is both relaxed and structured — we’ll focus on healthy vocal techniques, tone, breath control, and confidence, but also take time to explore who you are as an artist. I believe great singing starts with knowing yourself, so I get to understand your personality and musical goals before shaping your lessons around them. You’ll leave every session feeling confident, inspired, and ready to show your strength to the world. Whether your passion is country, pop, or musical theatre, I’ll help you develop the skill, power, and self-expression to truly own your voice.
