About Ling
Hi! I'm Ling Xu, and I am a dedicated flutist with a passion for both performance and teaching. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and a Master’s from the Mannes School of Music, and I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) at New York University, all in flute performance.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of performing in a wide variety of settings, from orchestras to chamber ensembles and wind ensembles.
In addition to performing, I am also a committed educator. I teach flute and piccolo to students of all ages at Tutti Music and Arts. It’s incredibly rewarding to help students explore the beauty of music, guiding them as they develop their skills and achieve their musical goals.
