About Zia
I have spent over 3 years teaching French with a focus on literature, philosophy, and critical interpretation. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Language Education (French), I prepare students for the rigor of university-level study. My lessons dive into the great movements of French thought—from the Enlightenment to existentialism—and the literature that reflects them. Students learn to read with precision, analyze with depth, and write with authority. We work through complex essays, developing the ability to express abstract ideas clearly. I place strong emphasis on research methodology, ensuring all arguments are supported by credible evidence. Discussions are guided but open, encouraging independent insight. I introduce students to literary criticism frameworks that deepen understanding of texts. Each session builds both analytical skill and expressive confidence.
