About Kevin
I've been playing guitar since 2008, and I've been involved in various bands and musical projects for almost as long. In that time, I've also received lessons from two separate guitar teachers, both formal and informal, as well as several semesters' worth of Music Theory/Ear Training courses from my hometown's community college.
I've performed live shows with several of my projects and have participated in recording sessions in both home and professional studio settings. I actually co-founded and helped to manage a handful of these projects, one of which is still active to this day.

My primary goal as an educator is to provide you with the necessary context and vocabulary to get you to where you want to be as a guitar player and overall musician. While many guitar/music lessons can feel arbitrary and tedious, I want to help my students set tangible goals for themselves and to craft engaging lesson plans that serve those ends.
