About Dean
My name is Dean, I am a student at Maynooth University studying Biomedical Science. I am really passionate about almost every aspect of the field of biology.
I have recently won a presentation competition at my college talking about chemotherapy in lung cancer, volunteered at a science event at my college to teach young children about DNA, and helped many friends/colleagues on topics they have struggled with on both in Leaving Cert and college level.
I would love to be able to help you in the topics you are struggling in, and achieve the standard you want!

With exams coming up, I will create a revision plan based on how long there is until your exam and how well you understand each chapter. With a focus on important exam topics that are most common on the papers, students who are striving for higher marks will also be advised on other topics that need attention.
We can revise any concepts, definitions, processes, or diagrams that you need help understanding. I prefer using visual and tactile techniques to explain the more complex chapters and solidify what you learn with past exam questions.
Along with the material, you will receive advice on how examiners grade biology papers, what they look for, and the best strategies to plan and write long answer questions.

Dean is a great teacher, took grinds with him for the leaving cert and got a grade I'm really happy with!
