About Jack
I'm Jack, a current student of Law(Pathways) in UCC. I attended Mercy Mounthawk secondary school in Tralee and received a H1 grade in English in the 2025 Leaving Certificate. I believe that I have great knowledge of the skills and techniques that are necessary to achieve your desired grade in this subject and wish to pass this knowledge on to other students. I found myself holding a deep passion and affinity for the subject from a young age and my greatest aim is to share this passion with other students in a manner that will enable them to thrive in English academically. It is also worth mentioning that I completed a Teaching English as a Foreign Language course which has taught me how to plan lessons, interact with and get the most out of students. As an individual that has completed a Teaching English as a Foreign Language course I put a large emphasis on planning lessons precisely and keeping students interested in what they are learning. My lessons will last an hour or so each and will be tailored to areas of the English course that you believe you need help with most. However, I also believe that covering the most important foundational skills and techniques with students is also necessary which is why I will incorporate these into every lesson.
