About Dr Liliyana
I am you partner for academic success in Law. As an experienced tutor, assessor and lecturer I have experience in Scottish, English (Welsh) and International law. My priority is to ensure you not only succeed in your immediate coursework but also develop the critical legal reasoning skills necessary for a successful future in law. My approach is designed to foster independent, high-level legal thought:
(1) by focus in Critical Thinking - Moving beyond surface-level understanding to analyse cases and statutes with judicial reasoning.
(2) Effective Research Strategies - Equipping you with the skills to find, evaluate, and synthesise relevant legal materials.
(3) The typical length of a lesson is 50 minutes to reflect the standardised timing of the university sessions.
(4) I have a doctorate in environmental and international public law, I have an LLB in Scots and English Law and an LLM in Energy and Environmental Law. I have more than three years of experience in teaching, I have been lecturing, marking dissertations, essays and exams. Perfect! I had the pleasure of being taught by Dr. Lillyana during my undergraduate law studies, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Liliyana worked with me as a friend. She helped me understand the requirements for good grade so i can pass the threshold for comstant C... I managed to secure Bs and one A this semester where we worked theoughout the different subjects of the first year. I will continue for the next semester and probably the next year with her.
She is widely knowledgable on undergrad subjects. I trusted her with my thesis and I got a A2. We worked on what the supervisor has suggested but liliyana helped me understand contract law and reviewed my thesis.
Liliyana takes the time to understand my personal problem with my legal studies and so far she has means to tackle them. Thank you, I dont know how you do it!
