About Alexander
I have a wide range of interests in Art and Design, and my Cambridge research specifically addresses making the curriculum accessible to those with special educational needs, SEND, dyslexia, ADHD, etc. We can really experiment with the creative parts of art and design & technology, and find solutions to remembering the dry exam-based information you'll need.

Hello! It's lovely to meet you. My name is Alex and I have over a decade of experience tutoring art and design at high school, college and university levels.
My lessons can range from 1 hour to 2 hours, depending on your needs. I have taught the UK national curriculum in Design & Technology and Art, and have written and taught units for design degrees at UCA and ICC. I will work to your needs and build lessons which directly boost your grades and prepare you for exam success. I trained as a designer at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, and as a teacher at the University of Cambridge. I have my QTS qualification also - Qualified Teacher Status.
Professionally, I have worked for advertising studios, game design firms, and have exhibited my work in national galleries across the UK, Europe, Asia and the US. I am now a Doctoral candidate for Harvard Graduate School of Design.
I am based in Brighton UK, but am able to take classes online anywhere in the world!
