About Will
I’m a Lecturer in Philosophy at University College London with extensive experience teaching GCSE, A-Level, undergraduate and MA students. I specialise in metaphysics and the philosophy of mind, and I’ve designed and delivered university courses, supervised dissertations, and taught students from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
I’m a trained and sensitive teacher of neurodiverse learners, and I use clear explanations, structured discussion and well-chosen puzzles to make complex ideas accessible. I also bring five years of insider Oxbridge admissions experience from my work at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, which helps students preparing for competitive applications.
I’m committed to professionalism, clarity and high-quality teaching, and I aim to help every student build confidence, develop strong philosophical skills and enjoy the subject.

I tailor my teaching to each student’s needs, using clear explanations, structured discussion, and well-chosen puzzles to make complex ideas accessible. I mix short lectures with guided conversation, examples, and practical exercises, and I adapt my methods for neurodiverse learners. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I’m happy to adjust.
