About Saija
I’ve DJed at major festivals across Australia, play most weekends, and run an event company in Sydney. I know the local scene well, and we’re always looking for new DJs to perform — so there’s real potential for guidance beyond just learning the basics.

I’ve taught numerous people how to DJ, including students who’d taken lessons before and made their biggest progress in just one hour with me.
I focus on what actually matters, teaching in a way that’s tailored to your current skill level and how you learn best.
I also produce music, which means I can support you not only as a DJ, but in understanding the wider creative and industry context.
Whether you’re starting from zero or looking to move forward faster, I’m confident we can advance your DJ skills efficiently and strategically.
You don’t need any prior experience or your own DJ equipment to start. I usually teach from my studio in Inner west of Sydney, where everything is set up for learning. I can also do online lessons.
Sessions are typically 2 hours, but we can adjust the format to what works best for you.
My specialities are tech house, psytrance and techno. But I can teach you with any genre of music.

I highly recommend Saija as a DJ instructor.
I’ve had the chance to see her growth and dedication as a DJ firsthand, and she is genuinely passionate about music and the art of DJing. She has a deep love for mixing, understanding tracks, and creating a vibe, but what really makes her stand out is her patience and ability to explain things in a clear, supportive way.
