About Alex
I graduated from Oxford this year with a first class honours degree. I have a passion for learning and teaching and am available to teach A-level or equivalent level History, Philosophy and Politics. I am particularly equipped to tutor 20th Century history, but can also tutor earlier periods, any area of politics, and ethics in both philosophy and religious studies A levels.

I love my areas of study and hope to transfer that passion to my students. I will engage you in discussions to improve our understanding and will focus on improving your examination technique and essay writing skills. I believe that the most important skill to learn in Sixth Form education is how to communicate ideas effectively, so I will focus there rather than on brute knowledge acquisition!
