About Emily
I am a current oxbridge offer holder, English literature is a fundamental part of my life and I have volunteered in libraries and school reading groups in order to spread my love for it.
This program gives me the perfect opportunity towards my goal of spreading knowledge. I think this will be a good opportunity for me to convey things in a way a teacher normally would not. When dealing with busy classes I find myself hopping in to assist my peers and younger students and found myself really enjoying it.
I have a lot of respect for the discipline of English literature and hope to be able to share that.

4 lessons scheme:
1-2 Introducing me to the texts and exam board and asking general areas of ficus (where applicable)
3-4 More focus on the set reading. Discussing big picture ideas, writers intention and linking that back to evidence in the text.
4-5 How to answer the exam question. How to structure an essay, going through an essay plan with me.
(Where relevant the approach to unseen poetry and unseen prose will be taught)
