About Amina
Growing up I loved reading and challenging myself with new books. I am still challenging myself with reading stats why I have huge love for reading classical novels and literature such as “1984” by George Orwell and also “Animal Farm” and also love reading books from philosophers such as and have recently started reading “Crime and Punishment” it’s great book. Hope this insight shows you my love for knowledge and learning, therefore why not share it with you? I am highly motivated by wanting to help students grow their confidence on difficult subjects as such but also give myself an experience and opportunity to also learn alongside because I believe that we never stop learning,

I think I am suitable for this role because I am highly enthusiastic about the importance of literacy throughout the life of a young person and have achieved high grades in English GCSE. I also have experience in working with Year 7s as I have volunteered to teach them to challenge themselves with reading and not be afraid of new difficult vocabularies. As well as helping with Year 11 interventions after school to push them through their mocks. All of this within the past 4 months of being in 6th form. I have had many experiences with helping students younger than me including helping family relatives. I would feel very happy to help with your child’s after school homework, tutor them, and also complete past papers with them. Besides English I speak Greek and a bit of Arabic. My lessons are strategically planned and specifically tailored to meet the requirements of the students. The variety of tools I utilise in the lessons are goal-oriented to improve the skills and competence of the students.
