About Sophie
I have experience and high qualifications at GCSE level, and am confident teaching at this level and below. I have also completed one year of A Level English Language and Literature. My teaching method is steady and methodical, and I try to explain the content in a way that it is retained. I also find that showing how to analyse and annotate texts is very important. I have always found initial recapping to aid memory, followed by content, exercises and homework.

I am an A Level student, who has studied English Language and Literature at both GCSE and higher. I also write articles for the About Thetford Magazine and in my spare time I write poetry and fiction, which has also aided my ability to analyse texts - an essential in studying English. While studying English at GCSE, I helped my friends improve their study and annotations methods, improving their understanding of the text and leading to high grades.
