About Brian
I am an attorney based out of Chicago, Illinois, currently employed by Chicago Advocate Legal, a not-for-profit law firm. I graduated from Carleton College in Minnesota, cum laude, where I majored in American Studies. I then attended John Marshall Law School, where I was a Dean's list student and recipient of a Health Law Certificate. I have extensive writing experience, which I obtained through Carleton's intensive writing programs, John Marshall's top ranked legal writing program, and most recently as a practicing litigator. I believe that a good writer, above all else, is someone who can construct clear and concise sentences in a straightforward and direct manner.

Passive learning is how students slip through the cracks. There are a variety of options, whether it be role playing, or the socratic method, that help accomplish the mission of keeping students engaged.
