Before every session, I kindly request a heads up on the topic you (the student) needs help with. This is all for a smooth progression of our lesson.
We will then have a quick rundown on lesson at hand, from introduction to practice problems, then finally work on the parts you struggle with.
As a tutor, I understand my job is not to repeat a lecture on a topic, it is to facilitate and further deepen the student's understanding on the lesson.
There will be others who will tell you to "Play to your strengths, they will lift you up." But I say "Work on your weaknesses, so you don't have to worry about anything dragging you down."
My sessions are open for Junior and Senior Highschool students and College students. I still have a long way to go, but with me your skills will grow.
