About Nerel Jean
Hi! I'm Nerel Jean, a Licensed Mechanical Engineer and experienced online Mathematics teacher with teaching experience at Brighterly, an online learning platform for children and students.
I believe that every student can learn Mathematics when the lesson is explained in a way that makes sense to them.
At Brighterly, I taught individualized Mathematics lessons and conducted demo lessons for prospective students. I was also ranked #1 in Paid & Demo Lesson Conversion Rate in January 2026—an achievement that reflects my ability to engage students, communicate clearly, and create a positive learning experience from the very first lesson.
My engineering background has given me a strong foundation in Mathematics, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. But as a teacher, my focus is much simpler:
