As a current speech pathologist and former exceptional children's teacher, I use teacher-centered methods (e.g. demonstrations, direct instruction) while incorporating modern technology-based activities which captivate children of all ages. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I genuinely enjoy interacting and working with young people while getting to see their progress. This gives me a sense of accomplishment through the service I provide. My typical lesson plan draws heavily on the goals and objectives that have been created for my student while targeting their natural strengths and interests.
