About Kisha

Greetings! I'm Kisha, hailing from the Philippines. In 2019, I earned a degree in Secondary Education with a major in English. My friends often describe me as a friendly, patient, honest, and understanding person. During my leisure time, you'll find me engrossed in books, magazines, novels, and Bible stories. I also have a penchant for crafting poems, articles, and stories, and I thoroughly enjoy engaging in arts and crafts.

About the lesson

My journey in education started during high school when I became a Sunday School Teacher at our church—a role I passionately fulfilled for a decade. I worked with students in kindergarten, primary, and junior classes, overseeing and supervising Bible lessons every Sunday. I taught memory verses and their meanings, imparted moral lessons, and organized arts and crafts activities related to our topics. My teaching repertoire included an array of strategies and techniques, such as total physical response, visual aids, PowerPoint presentations, printed pictures, models, and flashcards. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I had to step away from this role, hoping to return once it's safe. I boast a decade of valuable teaching experience, during which I successfully catered to students across kindergarten, primary, and junior classes. My responsibilities included the supervision and guidance of Sunday Bible lessons, the explanation of memory verses and their significance, imparting moral lessons, and conducting engaging arts and crafts activities related to the curriculum. To enhance the learning experience, I adeptly employed an array of teaching strategies and techniques, including total physical response, visual aids, PowerPoint presentations, printed materials, models, and flashcards. I am wholeheartedly committed to assisting students seeking to enhance their English proficiency, encompassing areas like grammar, proper usage, pronunciation, reading comprehension, writing, and effective speaking skills.
