About Salman
I am a college student, bound to graduate this May 2021. I am a Studio Art major, and Writing certificate student. I am a multi-skilled artist, but my original medium was graphite and charcoal. I have since also become a avid painter, and some experience in Ceramics and Intermedia Arts. I am most often commissioned for portraiture, so I have plenty of experience and skill in this area, but I also work in the realms of impressionism and surrealism a lot.

My teaching approach is that there is no correct way to make art, there are just tricks and techniques you adopt. Learning to draw, specifically life drawing, is more about learning to see– training your eye to sculpt out figure and form from approximated shades and planes. It is an estimation of light. But above all, i want my students to be able to create art they are proud of and feel is a good representation of their sentiments and experiences.
