I have experience as a tutor from various backgrounds with different age groups. During college, I tutored middle and elementary school students in multiple subjects, including French and Spanish.
After graduating college, I was a teaching assistant at Lycée Aristide Briand, one of many schools within the Académie de Rouen. I worked with high school students. My job was to assist in the teaching of English in the classroom. I gave the students opportunities to speak English through homework help, discussions, debates, games, and presentations related to American culture. I received this position through an application to The Teaching Assistant Program in France, which gives Americans an opportunity to teach English to French students.
I have also worked in various child care centers for the past five years, teaching kids from two to five.
I can prepare lessons for students of various ages. I like to make my lessons fun, exciting, and engaging! A typical lesson plan may include games, songs, presentations, or anything else the student wants to learn.
