About Ricardo
I have recently completed my PhD in Sport Management. Additionally, I am qualified in Sports Coaching and Sports Business Management. Bi-lingual (Portuguese and English), however I am also fluent in Spanish.
Furthermore, my school experience extends to teaching and tutoring, including study sessions. My approach to tutoring is one of patience and interaction with the student, as I believe sessions should be engaging and fun, in order to maximise learning.
Lecturer at University with a vast experience of teaching different age groups.

I have grown up speaking both English and Portuguese, having then undertaken my Cambridge Examinations at School for both. In addition, I have a BA(Hons) and MSc from universities in England, and have developed French and Spanish along the way. I have acted as a translator on several occasions.
When teaching both English or Portuguese, I tailor the content to the tutor's needs, and make it as interactive but as possible, always adding the element of challenge, so that the tutor can progress at a good rate. I am patient, and will deliver some fun content, to ensure lessons are not boring, rather quite informal and in a seminar style.
I have taught different age groups and I know that learning a language can be very challenging, however I pride myself in doing my best to ensure lessons are engaging and maximise the tutor's potential. I will use different resources depending on the type of tutorial, which may include visual aids, and PowerPoint slides.
