About Lucas
I am a lawyer who has a Bachelor of Arts in Lingusitics. This degree helped me to become proficient in the English language, while exposing me to other languages. The degree also taught me techniques to help learn and teach new languages. I therefore have an appreciation of how other languages can differ from English, and use this in my teachings. I also have a Bachelor of Laws and am currently a lawyer, so I use English frequently in the real world in both formal and informal settings.

My teaching method is simple. I focus on the basic rules of grammar and build up from there. I use fun, interesting, real world examples to help learners remember key grammatical rules. Colour is also an important tool that I use that can assist with understanding word placement (syntax) and affixes, for example. Learning English should be methodical, but fun!
