About Elizabeth
I am a graduate student in Applied Linguistics, aiming to pursue research to design lesson plans that help students like you understand your work more easily.
Working with me will involve real-life examples. We can use traditional or more fun methods like going over your favorite stories, scripts, or (family-friendly) lyrics to help you sound more confident in reading, pronunciation, and comprehension.

My goal is to teach children and teens in grades K-12 to increase their literacy skills.
I want to help those who need help with reading, retaining, comprehension, and pronunciation.
I am also getting certified in TESOL, and can help your children get a baseline understanding of English through practice and discussion.
Learning can be daunting. My approach is to come gently and with understanding. Walking through anything not understood during homework or school lessons, making it clear, and providing a gentle push to increase your level of understanding.
Lessons will vary based on age and reading comprehension levels.
