About Alice
I am passionate about languages, literature and teaching. I took the Baccalaureate exam in 2016 (mention très bien), studied Comparative Literature and Languages at UCL (first class), then Modern Languages at the University of Oxford where I am currently doing a postgraduate degree in World Literatures. I have tutored undergraduate students in Modern Languages at UCL for two years. I also studied Spanish, Latin and Ancient Greek for seven years and have a solid background in Linguistics from my undergraduate degree at UCL. I can also speak Swedish.

I design my classes according to the needs and level of my students. The length of a lesson varies between 30 and 90 minutes depending on your needs and ability to concentrate. We can also take breaks depending on what you need. I use a variety of approaches (conversational French on a topic that interests you, pure grammar and exercises, vocabulary focused approach, preparation for exams and tests in French or a blend of all the above). My lessons are for any age and abilities. I will adapt according to your needs. I have been teaching French for over ten years to a variety of students, from age 4 to 67, either native speakers preparing the Brevet and the French Baccalaureate or foreign students learning French as a second language. I have also been tutoring middle school, high school, and university students in French Language and Literature. I have taught adults who needed to speak French in their workplace or wanting to learn a foreign language for leisure.
