Betsy and I met in a Clemente program for non-traditional learners. She is one of the most enthusiastic, caring, and insightful teachers I have met. She is excellent at working with individuals with different learning styles and approaches. She is also wonderful at bringing together a class as a group, learning collaboratively and helping each other. She is a superb scholar as well as an excellent teacher, and her rich understanding of literature, English, theater, and the arts enriches her teaching while at the same time she can reach students where they are and make any subject comprehensible and rewarding.
